We had a great morning together in the Blue Room! We learned about Japan for our final country of our Holidays Around the World Project, played with snow trays, created and colored at the studio table, and had fun on the front playground.
Holidays Around the World: Japan!
Today was our culminating day of our holiday project. We have learned so much about how 8 different countries celebrate holidays at this time of the year!
In Japan, Christmas is the main holiday at this time of year. Japanese families decorate their Christmas trees with origami ornaments! Santa Claus leaves presents next to children’s beds so they can open presents right when they wake up. Fried chicken is the most popular Christmas dinner food and for dessert, strawberry cake!
