December 14th

Ciao! Today in the Blue Room, we learned about Italy for our Holidays Around the World project, built with magnatiles, played with ice in the sensory table, and did some coloring and painting. We bundled up to play on the back playground and had a Christmas-themed yoga class with Tara Rachel.

Holidays Around the World: Italy

Today friends learned about Christmas traditions in Italy. Santa Claus is called Babbo Natale and he brings presents on December 25th, but on January 6th, Befana brings presents again! Befana is an old woman who sweeps away the old year to bring in the new year.
